Thousands of families subscribed to the FreeTV platform powered by the Digital Switch Over (DSO) from analogue television broadcasts in Nigeria enjoyed real time cross-country high definition viewing of Christmas church services and entertaining festivities that marked the Yule tide season with a choice of up to 30 local and national channels on air.

This followed travel challenges that prevented many Nigerians from the annual holiday in their hometowns.

In the celebration spirit, Sir Lucky Omoluwa, chairman of Pinnacle Communications Limited, the only private licensed national signals distributor in the DSO NIGERIA project, sent out special Christmas and New Year greetings to Nigerians highlighting it’s remarkable benefits saying with the full implementation of the digital switch over in Nigeria, the citizens are now more enlightened and more up to date about events and issues in the country and current world affairs.

Wishing all Nigerians safe and pleasant festivities and peaceful transition to a prosperous 2019, Sir Lucky Omoluwa has called on Christians to emulate Jesus Christ by imbibing the core values of love, tolerance, sacrifice, honesty and peaceful coexistence which Christ exemplified.

In his personal message, he urged Christians to shun tribal and religious sentiments and hate speeches which the Holy Book vehemently abhors, stressing the need for Christians to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ by doing good to all manner of persons.
