At the wee hours of Thursday morning ,a fire explosion started in Ijegun Ikotun area of Lagos. Our correspondents at Engineers Forum reported that as at the time the news was gathered Fire fighters have not been able to stop the wild conflagration.
Some people are feared dead and properties worth millions of naira destroyed in the inferno. The fire razed the Forte filling station to the ground. The cause of the fire is yet to be identified but it is rumoured by residents of the area that the fire was as a result of pipeline vandals who in the process of pilfering products, the fire erupted.
