COREN Calls For A Greater Maintenance Culture

During the courtesy visit of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, to Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, the Executive Secretary, FCDA, Engr. Umar Jibrin, expressed worry over the continued distortion of the Abuja master plan.

According to the FCT Development Authorities, the impact of the damage is responsible for the endless chaotic traffic, building mishaps and flooding situations within and around the capital city.

Earlier, the President, COREN, Engr.Ali A Rabiu, made a case for adequate maintenance of infrastructure like street lights as it will enhance security of lives and properties in the capital territory. He also called on FCDA to carry out extensive studies and legislations in order to avert catastrophic consequences from the recent earth tremors in the capital territory.
