Kofo Akinkugbe, Owner Of West Africa’s First Smart Card Plant, Exports To 21 Countries

Kofo Akinkugbe is the owner of SecureID Nigeria Ltd, a sim production company that has excelled in smart card technology. The company, which was started in 2015, now exports sim cards to 21 other African countries and is certified by VISA, Verve, and Mastercard.

The company now reportedly exports to 21 other countries and has the certification of credible companies like VISA, Verve, and Master Card.
In 2012, Kofo was given the Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship Mature Business Award for her excellent works and being a thoughtful and solution-providing businesswoman.
According to a twitter user with the handle @OvieAlie, her company produced a whopping 200 million cards. Kofo also has a banking experience which she got immediately she finished her one year compulsory Nigerian Youth Service Corps.
She spent 12 years in the financial sector before she left in 1997 to begin Interface Technologies. She also has MBA from the University of Strathclyde. She spent nine years working on Interface Technologies before she started SecureID Nigeria Ltd, which has contributed immensely to the smart cards.
