The Minister of science and technology Dr Ogbonayya Onu has called for the inclusion of positive ideas, creativity and innovation at all levels of educational institutions of the country. Dr. Onu said this during a courtesy visit by the management team of Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology in his office in Abuja.
He said there was need to work closely with the Federal Ministry of Education to ensure that positive ideas and creativity are added to the academic curriculum.
With this done Nigeria will start producing solvers, team workers, and innovative researchers and enhance creativity skills to solve prevailing challenges, he said.
According to the Minister, the administration of the President Muhammadu Buhari has achieved a very high level of self-reliance in food security and food safety.
