A vacancy exists for the position of a Field Services Coordinator in our client’s operation Bonny Island, Rivers State. Details of the position are as highlighted below.
- Qualified candidates should have the following:
B.Eng. degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or any related Engineering degree plus any professional qualifications e.g. CISRS, OPITO etc. - A minimum of 5 – 7 years post – graduate experience in maintenance with a clear track record in field services maintenance works.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Lifting & Rigging, Work Access Provision and Scaffolding support services on a large comparable scale at supervisory level or above and preferably in an LNG, Petrochemical plant or an Oil and Gas Company.
- Proven experience in optimizing team perform and productivity.
Job Purpose / Objective
To provide safety leadership, coordination and supervision to Lifting, Rigging and Scaffolding activities within NLNG plant sites and to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, for improved LNG production
- Technical / Business Skills:
Must be able to understand design engineering, lifting plan, schedule and planning concept and be able to apply them in his or her work. - Must be a team player and a manager of time, cost and material (resources)
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong oral, Written Communication, Organizational, Problem solving skills, detailed – oriented individual with the meet deadlines, organize and oversee teams.
