Sales & Operations Manager – Ikeja
Job Overview
A leader in one of the leading logistics firm is looking for a driven Sales & Operations Manager that will drive sales strategy and planning, delivers strategic analyses and instills operational rigor to their entire team! The ideal candidate has a passion for driving key objectives for the business and turning data-focused insights into actions. This person excels at balancing strategy with execution and is very comfortable getting their hands dirty.
Responsibilities
• Track long term sales data
• Implement new technologies as needed to support marketing and sales teams
• Serve as a liaison between teams and upper management
• Follow ethical practices with consumer and customer data
• Assist marketing teams in determining customer outreach methods
• Monitor and assist with customer retention
• Train staff on new technology and software
• Assist with account management
• Defining, tracking, and implementing business objectives, initiatives, strategies, tactics, and processes that scale
• Lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables
• Provide visibility and performance tracking to the business (health of business reviews, sales efficiency and productivity KPIs, dashboards)
• Help to build, maintain, and improve our data and reporting foundation
• Drive operational efficiency by automating and improving processes, tools, and dashboards that scale
• Support special business projects. Structure business problems, evaluate options, implement impactful recommendations, and track success
Qualifications•
Strong analytical skills
• Ability to perform basic computing functions
• Familiarity with databases and sales software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Access and Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Maximum of 3 years in a Supervisory/Managerial position with increasing responsibility
• Minimum of BSC/HND in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to work well in groups
• Ability to multitask
