Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
■ Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
■ Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
■ Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
■ Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
■ Maintaining electrical equipment.
■ Working with a variety of technicians.
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
■ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering degree from an accredited school.
■ Licensed as a professional engineer.
■ Experience in using or a desire to learn required software.
■ Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
■ Proficient in design and calculation software.
RESPONSIBILITIES: MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
■ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
■ Confer with other engineers to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and provide
technical information.
■ Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain equipment, systems, and processes to
meet requirements applying knowledge of engineering principles
■ Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make
recommendations to the maintenance crew
■ Establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials
required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
■ Source for and procure materials required for fabrication and construction and ensure quality control checks are carried out.
■ Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects
■ Ensure the Department’s operating cost is within the approved budget
■ Perform all other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
■ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
■ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated
reports
■ Ability to research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain equipment, systems and
processes to meet requirements applying knowledge of engineering principles
■ Ability to investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make
recommendations to the maintenance crew
■ Ability to conduct research that tests and analyses the feasibility, design, operation and
performance of equipment, components, and systems.
■ Ability to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
