Oracle Launches An Initiative To Help African Startups

Oracle for Startups provides a specific Cloud Computing solution to help African businesses develop.

Oracle for Startups allows small businesses to take advantage of the benefits of cloud computing at a low cost, while also supporting their growth with a full set of complementary go-to-market capabilities.

Oracle has created a program targeted at assisting African startups in a variety of industries in implementing cutting-edge digital technology to accelerate their growth.

Over the next two years, Oracle for Startups, a worldwide cloud computing company, will provide more resources and support to technology startups across Africa.

Hands-on technical help, executive mentoring, go-to-market resources, and customer engagements will be available to businesses.

The program will support African tech entrepreneurs in their efforts to use cutting-edge digital technology to help their businesses succeed.”

The program is available to all African tech startups and follows Oracle’s recent introduction of its first cloud region in Africa to fulfill the continent’s fast-expanding demand for enterprise cloud services.

To qualify for this offer

  • Startups must have been founded within the last 10 years, and have a functioning website or public profile and LinkedIn profile of the applicant
  • Must be a registered startup business in Africa
  • Startups must be associated with one or more of the following: accelerators, seed/venture capital firms, and startup enabling organizations/initiatives
  • Startups who have already graduated from the Oracle for Startups program, public companies, existing Oracle customers (including their subsidiaries), and Oracle Partner Network members are not eligible for this offer
  • The initiative is open to net-new startups from February 2022 and is valid for two years from the enrollment date
