In a bid to foster innovation and academic excellence in the field of engineering, Blue Apple, in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Nigeria Section, and the Engr. Wuraola Atinuke Owolabi Capacity Building Initiative (WAAOCbi), proudly announces the upcoming 4th edition of the National Engineering Science and Technology Essay Competition (NESTEC) Award Ceremony.
NESTEC has been a platform aimed at encouraging young minds to delve into the realms of engineering, science, and technology through technical paper writing.
With the following objectives in mind, NESTEC aims to:
- To unlock the untapped potentials among youths in the field of engineering and science
- Promote research and scholarship among engineering students
- Encourage and develop capacity for technical paper and essay writing
- Introduce the students into mainstream trending and advances in engineering science and technology
- Create local and global opportunities for students and young graduate engineering personnel to showcase their talents.
The competition framework ensures inclusivity, engagement, and transparency in evaluating outcomes, and importantly, participation is free.
The prestigious NESTEC 4th Edition Award Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, the 27th of April, 2024. The event will be held virtually via Zoom, allowing participants and attendees from across Nigeria and beyond to join. The ceremony is set to commence at 10:00 am West African Time (WAT).
Participants, stakeholders, Students, engineering and tech enthusiasts are cordially invited to witness this momentous event where the brightest minds will be acknowledged and celebrated for their outstanding contributions.
