NNPC Resolves Fuel Supply Tightness Amid Logistics Challenges

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has moved swiftly to address the recent tightness in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, across various regions of the country. In a statement released today, the company clarified that the disruption was primarily due to logistical challenges, which have now been successfully resolved.

The assurance comes amidst concerns raised by consumers over the availability and pricing of petroleum products. NNPC Ltd. emphasized that there will be no changes in the prices of petroleum products, seeking to allay fears of potential price hikes.

“We wish to assure the public that the recent tightness in fuel supply was a result of logistical issues, which have since been addressed,” stated the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., Olufemi Soneye.

NNPC Ltd.’s proactive measures to tackle the logistical challenges reflect its commitment to ensuring stable and reliable fuel supply across Nigeria. The company remains focused on its mandate to efficiently manage the nation’s petroleum resources for the benefit of all citizens.
