Power Supply Excites Exhibitors At Lagos Int’l Trade Fair

Lagos State Government got accolades from some exhibitors for improved supply of power, at the ongoing Lagos International Trade Fair in Onikan Lagos.

The Exhibitors specifically commended Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry for improving the supply of power in this year’s Trade Fair.

While speaking at the fair they said, in the previous year, they spent huge amount of money on diesel and fuel to run their generators, but the supply of power this year has reduced even other expenses.

An exhibitor, Mrs Abimbola Obidiran of the African Arts Gallery said the availability of light had projected her artworks in a brighter state before the visitors.

She said, light is very important for the sales of her artworks; hence the new development has endeared more visitors to her stand.

A Ghanaian exhibitor, Mr Justice Mahama, who is into wine business said, there was ventilation in the Ghana hall such that it had a positive impact on his stocks.

Speaking further, he said, “I will score LCCI 90 per cent this year for improved electricity supply which has a positive impact on my business this year. I appreciate the organisation for this and wish it can continue like this.”

Mrs Omotunde, a Qasa New Generation Qlink Products dealer also expressed her joy, saying that adequate power supply had made it convenient to put most of her products to test for customers.

Speaking further, she said, “I can test any of my stocks before my customers without going from one stand to the other or overwork my generator.”

Mr Richard Ibe of “Power Value”, a sole distributor of generating sets also appreciated the LCCI for improved power supply, urging them to continue the good work.

According to him, LCCI has made created value for our money this year in terms of electricity supply, stressing that the development is highly commendable.

The 32nd edition of the Lagos International Trade Fair began on Nov. 2 and is billed to end on Nov 11, 2018.
