The Blue Apple Educational Foundation, a leading advocate for the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Innovation (STEI) in Nigeria, has officially announced an extension of the submission deadline for its flagship National Engineering Science and Technology Essay Competition (NESTEC) 6.0.
The new deadline for essay submissions is now January 31, 2026. This decision comes in direct response to the significant volume of feedback and requests received.
Since its inception in 2019, NESTEC has become a cornerstone program for identifying and nurturing the next generation of Nigerian innovators. The competition challenges Science, Technology, and Engineering students to critically engage with STEI topics, fostering a culture of research and intellectual curiosity.
NESTEC is out to harness the untapped potential and groom our youths to develop capacity in research and technical paper/essay writing in line with global best standards. The Foundation emphasizes that this extension is a strategic move to enhance the competition’s impact and the quality of entries.
