NSE, Warri Branch Woo Young Nigerians To Engineering

Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Warri branch, has taken its ongoing drive to woo young Nigerians to the Engineering profession to Orerokpe Secondary School, Orerokpe, Delta State.

Vice Chairman of the branch, Engr Godwin Enibueta, who led the NSE team, harped on the importance of Engineering and asked them to choose a career in Engineering. He stressed that “Engineering is a profession that opens doors of opportunities”, adding that “engineers take responsibility for safety of people and the environment”.

Engr Henry Agha, a Fellow of the NSE, who also spoke, pointed out that competence in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics and English should make the list of subjects that equips one to read Engineering in higher institutions while the Technical Secretary of the branch, Engr. Victor Olokpa told the students: “Engineers always seek optimal solutions to societal problems, make judgement and provide an explanation of their choices”. Staff and Students expressed joy over the visit and prayed God to bless the NSE, Warri branch.
