Futurologist Dr Ian Pearson claims that ‘visual laws’ would stop sex robots from looking too realistic
When picturing a sex doll , a vision of a crude blow-up doll may spring to mind.
But sex dolls are getting more and more realistic – to the point where one expert claims that there should be ‘visual laws’ in place.
Speaking to the Daily Star Online , Dr Pearson said: “It’s possible (we won’t know the difference) but regulation may force some visible difference to be conspicuous.”
For example, Dr Pearson suggests that sex robots could have bright green eyes, subtlety showing that they’re not human.
He added that it ‘seems sensible to be able to tell for all sorts of reasons, even if the technology would allow otherwise.’
Dr Pearson’s suggestions come just days after a sex robot expert claimed that 5G networks will make sex robots so realistic that we won’t be able to distinguish them from humans.
Brick Dollbanger explained: “Anytime you can get a steadier flow of information from software to hardware activation, you are going to get better synchronisation and smoother more lifelike movement from your hardware.
“I see this occurring once the synthetic becomes mobile and carries its own power cell. It will all be hardwired into the body and head and it will no longer need a carrier signal.
“Probably a signal will be used on occasion to update the AI, and 5G will help with this.”
