Flooding Gets Worse In Lagos State

The recurrent issue of flooding in Lagos seems to get worse as recent downpour in the state has caused serious flooding that restricted movements , caused unmitigated traffic gridlock on the roads and damages to vehicles and bikes of the commuters.

Some of the affected areas of the yesterday downpour were the 3rd mainland bridge at Oworo ,Iyana Ipaja-Ile epo road and Mushin but a few to mention. Eye witnesses at Abule Egba narrated how the flood had swept moving tricyles, caused damages to vehicles and terrible accidents.

Residents called on the state government to look into this recurrent flooding issue which has become a socio economic menace to residents in the state.
