In fulfilling it’s social responsibility, Cadbury Bournvita is not only providing nourishment to future generations but they are also building capacity.
Cadbury recently achieved this by going much further than food and nutrition to equipping children with skills and knowledge. They organized a digital – based boot-camp for teens , who were no older than sixteen years.
During the five days training, the participants were empowered in areas such as computer programmin, artificial intelligence which includes robotics and other areas beneficial to creating an empowered and dynamic future. The camp which ended on the 9th of August, 2019 was held in Lagos. To ensure that they learned from the best and got the most out of the camp, Cadbury partnered with Techeduhub and Edusko Africa to realize the objective.
The camp had fifty children in attendance and there are plans to scale the initiative to accommodate other categories of people in the future.
