ABSTRACT
This research work presents a review on network reconfiguration for active power loss minimization and voltage profile improvement using genetic algorithm technique of Kaduna Town 1 Transmission Station. Intelligent based optimization technique has become the best method in solving power system problems. The aim of review is to give a general background for the new researcher in the field of power system while identifying gaps from previous studies for scientific communities to leverage on for the purposes of minimizing the losses along the network of interest.
